6.Purpose of Site and Need for Legal Counsel

RYAN S. MCBRIDE, ATTORNEY AT LAW LLC (“firm”), provides information on this site as a courtesy to our users. The information you obtain at this site is for informational purposes only and is not, nor is it intended to be, professional legal advice. While our goal is to present accurate information to our users, laws tend to change frequently and factual circumstances present more legal nuances than a brief overview of the law can provide.  For these reasons, we cannot guarantee to any extent that the information provided on this site is accurate or appropriate for your specific situation.

We make no representation that the quality of our legal services is greater than the quality of legal services performed by other lawyers.  You should always consult an attorney for advice regarding your individual situation.  You should not act on any of the information presented on this website without obtaining professional advice from legal counsel in your appropriate state.

7. IRS CIRCULAR 230 DISCLOSURE

Any tax information provided on this website does not constitute legal advice and is not intended or written to  be used, and cannot be used, for the purpose of (i) avoiding penalties under  the Internal Revenue Code or (ii) promoting, marketing, or recommending to another party any transaction or matter addressed herein.

8. No Attorney-Client Relationship in the Absence of Written Engagement

We invite you to contact us and welcome your calls, letters and electronic mail. However, under no circumstances should any use of this Site or correspondence with our attorneys constitute an attorney-client relationship with our firm unless you have entered into a signed written agreement with our firm for such services.

Contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship, nor does preliminary conversations to discuss your matter for purposes of evaluating whether either party wishes to enter into an attorney-client relationship. No legal advice will be given by phone, e-mail, or other communication until an attorney-client relationship has been established by a written and signed agreement, and you should not rely on any information obtained in such manner or by viewing this site as legal advice.

Please do not send any confidential information to our office until such time as an attorney-client relationship has been established by entering into a written and signed agreement with our firm.  The attorney-client privilege will not protect any information submitted to our firm, by telephone, e-mail, or otherwise, unless an attorney-client relationship is established by entering into a signed, written agreement with our firm.

9. No Obligation to Respond

Our firm receives multiple inquiries from prospective clients and other members of the public on a frequent basis.  While it is our goal to respond to prospective client’s e-mails and phone calls promptly, we are not always able to do so.  You should be aware that our firm is under no express or implied obligation to respond to your inquiries or phone calls.  If we do so, it is as a courtesy only.  As there are time considerations involved with most legal claims, if you have an urgent matter you should not hesitate to contact other legal counsel immediately if necessary.
